ROALD AMUNDSEN (GERMANY) Brig-type sailing ship, length – 40.8 m, sail area – approx. 850 m2, class – A. Built in 1952, this German training ship is used for maritime practice, sailing training, and international expeditions. Future sailors and volunteers from around the world gain skills on board, learning traditional navigation, sail handling, and teamwork at sea. The ship regularly participates in international regattas, maritime festivals, and educational voyages, preserving classic sailing traditions. The ship is named after the famous Norwegian polar explorer Roald Amundsen. Arrives Friday, July 24, 12:00. Departs Monday, July 27, 12:00. Deck visiting hours: July 25 (Saturday) 15:00–18:00, July 26 (Sunday) 12:00–15:00. BONAWENTURA (POLAND) Two-masted sailing ship, length – 20 m, home port – Gdansk. Built in 1978 based on 18th-century merchant ship designs. The ship participates in maritime events, sailing training, and international regattas. „Bonawentura“ is valued for its traditional construction and contribution to maritime heritage. During the Sea Festival, the ship invites you for cruises: Friday, July 24, 18:00–20:00. Saturday, July 25, 14:00–16:00 and 18:00–20:00. Sunday, July 26, 10:00–12:00, 12:30–14:30, and 15:00–17:00. No registration, first-come, first-served. BRABANDER (LITHUANIA) Gaffe schooner-type sailing ship, length – 36 m, main mast height – 28 m, home port – Klaipėda. This traditional sailing ship represents Lithuania in international regattas such as „Tall Ships Races“, „Rostock Hanza Sail“, „Gdansk Old Timer“, and „Szczecin Old Timer“, and participates in Klaipėda city events. Deck visiting hours: July 25 (Saturday) 15:00–18:00. LIETUVA (LITHUANIA) „Lietuva“ is a training and representative sailing yacht, distinguished as one of the country's most important symbols of maritime heritage, actively representing Lithuania in international regattas. It is used for maritime navigation training and the preparation of young sailors, and participates in various events, promoting Lithuania's name and sailing traditions.
